- Samples of boiler water can be taken at this sampling point
Boiler drum
- Vessel wherein water is heated up to over 300°C and 100 bars
- Metall coupons can be installed for determing corrosion rates in the water phase
- The product to be tested can be added via a needle valve
Condensate Vessel
- The steam formed in the boiler drum is cooled down and condensed
- Then, it is returned back to the boiler drum
- This vessel is the sampling point for the condensate
- Up to 4 coupons can be stored in condensate to investigate their corrosion rate
Controller
- Control of pressure, inner and outer temperature and stirring speed
